The Pulaski County Animal Shelter & Humane Education Center is a wonderful facility, but it takes a lot of simple household and pet care items to keep things running smoothly. Your donation of any of these items helps to keep our shelter stocked and allows us to use money from donors for medical treatments and other costs.


  • Unscented Liquid Laundry Detergent for Washing Machines
  • Tall Kitchen Trash Bags (13 Gallon)
  • Paper Towels
  • Window Cleaner
  • Bleach
  • Hand Sanitizing Gel
  • Antibacterial Hand Soap (pump bottles or refills)
  • Dawn with Bleach Dish Soap
  • Simple Green or Mean Green Cleaner
  • Towels and Washcloths (old and used are fine)
  • Snuggles
  • Dog, Puppy, Cat, or Kitten Shampoo and Flea Shampoo
  • Rubbing Alcohol
  • UNSCENTED Non-Clumping Kitty Litter
  • Small litter boxes
  • Stainless Steel food bowls and water buckets
  • Dry or Canned Dog, Cat, Puppy, and Kitten Food
  • Cat Treats – crunchy or moist
  • Catnip
  • Heavy Duty Dog Toys: Kongs (the smooth ones, please!), Nylabones, or Ropebones

Cleaning supplies and pet items can be dropped off at the Humane Society office during our regular hours or they can be left on the front porch of the shelter after hours. If you have anything you think we could use that’s not on this list, bring it over to the shelter or contact us.
